A Colorado native, Derek DelGaudio began making a name for himself in the world of magic and sleight of hand at the tender age of fourteen. His peers quickly gave him the nickname, “Wonder Boy”.   Driven by this reputation, he became an avid student in the art of prestidigitation and entertainment.

Over time, Derek’s interest in astonishment was combined with his laid back style and his innate ability to entertain and make people laugh. He continued his captivating performances through college. Since that time, Derek has earned a reputation as a world-class entertainer.   He now spends most of his waking hours on the road, dazzling and entertaining at corporate events, private parties, trade shows, hospitality suites and theater engagements.

Derek's corporate client list reads like a “Who’s Who” with clients such as IBM, Disney, MasterCard, Sony, Apple and numerous other Fortune 500 companies.

He has been hired to entertain at private shows that have ranged from the Hollywood elite to members of the Saudi Royal family. He has repeatedly mystified celebrities such as Rob Reiner, Jason Alexander, John Malkovich, Muhammad Ali, Teri Hatcher, and Johnny Depp, to name a few.        

Among Derek's television appearances is the principal role on the Court TV prime-time series 'Takedown.' On the series, Las Vegas casino security experts put Derek’s uncanny abilities with sleight of hand to the test.  

Derek has also served as Technical and Magic Advisor for films and television shows.  Recently he served as Magic Consultant for the hit movie The Prestige, staring Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Scarlett Johansson.

Derek currently resides in Hollywood, California.
